In the morning hours, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., it operates as a traditional Singaporean coffee shop, serving classic breakfast sets of kaya butter toast and soft-boiled eggs. As the day progresses, the establishment transforms, offering an extensive menu of authentic Thai cuisine for lunch and dinner, a result of a collaboration with Ying Thai. This distinctive transition allows patrons to enjoy two different culinary worlds in a single, unassuming location. The menu at Thong Aik Coffee is a tale of two distinct offerings. For breakfast, alongside the traditional toast, customers can find heartier options like lu rou fan (braised pork rice) and century egg porridge. From 11 a.m. onwards, the kitchen serves up a variety of classic Thai dishes, with specialties including green curry chicken, basil minced pork with rice, and seafood phad thai.
